The MOSI Exhibition visit (FMP)

I have attended the exhibition at the Manchester Science Museum:

The idea of architectural construction inside the iceberg was a huge surprise to me, in terms of variety of facilities, which could be build inside the iceberg. I took some photographs of 3D models represented on the exhibition:

It is unusual and fascinating to see moving sculptures!

I researched  the art work of the Chinese sculptor Li Hongbo, who has invented  “alive sculptures”. The technique he used for the realistic looking sculptures based on the structure of the Chinese paper Lantern. Hundreds of paper layers are glued to one another in the way that gives an opportunity to the material to be stretched. See the video:

After watching all these, I was too ambitious when decided to create something out of layers of glued paper! It is not as easy as it looks on the video! I decided to work with small cut out paper shapes to glue them together,layer after the layer. All I could create is the abstract structural sculpture of the water molecule, in accordance to the scientific research about the molecular structure of the water:
