I am fascinated with the art work of the Russian artist Ivan Grave from Saint-Petersburg.He is specialised in Painting,Graphics and Illustration.The wide range of his art work displayed on the Google page:

The elements of composition in these book covers designed by Ivan Grave represented in a certain range of colours that emphasises the elegance of the images. The minimum elements with maximum meaning makes the composition precise and magnificent.
In terms of preparation to the Contextual critical studies for the presentation about the 20th Century Art, I looked at the work of different artists and depicted some art work relevant to the themes reflected in the article by Griselda Pollock.The text was given to me for analysing. The article reflects a concept of a male dominant position compared to the position of the female in the history of art, in terms of prioritising the hierarchy of the society and cultural or social differences.Also the subjects such as: • A hybrid structure of Abstract Expressionism • Racism • A political aspect of female art in whole history • Feminism were discussed in the article too. This painting by Henry Matisse “The Artist and his Model” was chosen as an iconic image for the themes that author reflected in her article. Ernst Hass
