Museum and Exhibition Visits

I have visited Port Sunlight Museum near Liverpool. The museum situated in the village that was originally created for people who worked on the soap factory of the Lever Brothers company that invented a technology of making soap out of Palm Oil instead of using the animal fat. Village has got a school, a theatre, an Art gallery, a nice park with a fountain, some museums and a church. The Architecture of  houses for factory workers is beautiful, the colourful flowers planted along the streets and gardens give such a warm atmosphere. Some houses were built in Flemish style, with bricks imported from Belgium. In the museum and Art Gallery are represented samples of soap, sculptures of factory workers, paintings, ceramics, jewellery and a lot more. I am really fascinated with posters that were designed for advertising the company with very impressive combination of colours and characters. The video film about William Lever was demonstrated in the museum. William Lever was born on 19 September 1851 at 16 Wood Street, Bolton, Lancashire, England. He was a figure with great reformative ideas in terms of employing women, creating a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for villagers by designing the accommodation for workers ,schools and Art gallery for education ;and taking care for those who retired by giving a pension and organising a health care. Although Lever believed that a workforce that enjoyed decent living conditions would be more productive and as such building housing at Port Sunlight made commercial sense, the project was also a genuine endeavour to raise living standards for the working classes. Lever himself described his hope that the company would “build houses in which our work-people will be able to live and be comfortable. A keen art collector, Lever travelled all over the world and liked to show the villagers the art he collected. William Lever personally supervised planning the village, and employed nearly thirty different architects.The one of the biggest companies The “Lever Brothers” still successful nowadays and supplies the world with products. The Natural World Project .On the Origin of Species

I supposed to produce my response to the  book “On The Origin of Species” written by Charles Darwin. I red a number of books about Evolution including the original Darwin’s work. There are some contra version theories and completely opposite opinions of some thinkers and Philosophes about where human comes from. Scientific research does not brings a clear evidence confirming that Chimps were transformed into a human. Furthermore, Darwin never said this in his work, as he was investigating mainly insects and plants. So, the theory of transformation monkeys into a humans was created by someone else and applied onto Darwin’s theory,according to some research materials I have found.Probably Darwin would not be happy with what they did to his theory and work!One discovery remains firm is that Energy exists forever does not disappear or appear from nothing ,but transforms from one type into another .This concept was developed by Einstein and remains irrefutable.John Kehoe believes that Humans are connected to the Energy Web within the Universe:

I decided to create a short Animated Film that would include a visual response on different existing theories and concepts.I have started developing characters and creating hybrids using Illustrator and Photoshop.Also I do my first steps in creating 3D objects in Illustrator and Photoshop.This is my Proposal Form:

Next step is to combine all  materials in After Effect program at the college.
I have started combining sequential frames in After Effect computer program.At the moment I am experimenting with different fonts and different layouts for the text.A lot to learn!
Experiments with typing:

Sequential frames are too jumpy and require adjusting.Also,some more work to do, in terms of changing the layout of the text.
