The project 3.Fiction and Reality.Cross Pathway Project

I moved to another oncoming project “Fiction and Reality”. The groups of students were created for this project. The group I belong to has decided to create a video film as a group task, so everyone is getting ideas and then we will share it on our meeting on Friday 16.11.2012.Today 13.11.2012 I did some development work for Fiction and Reality project. I developed some ideas for the Fiction part of the film.Some footages were made for the film.I used remote controlled UFO,my child's toy;created a Moon surface out of foil and newspaper,placed some other toys for the panorama.Some photographs are represented below:
I am looking forward to meeting other members of the group to see their ideas in terms of choosing the best one or combining all the ideas.
We had a team meeting on 16.11 2012.We have discussed some ideas ,started working on costume design and writing the storyboard.The plan is to write one storyboard each and then come up with joint idea.We will emerge the best ideas of all in the plot of the film.Each member of the team supposed to do an individual piece of development work over the weekend as a starting point for this project.The next meeting with actual filming is planned for 19.11.2012.We have booked the Photo Studio for 23.11.2012 afternoon in order to film some episodes of the film.
I have done some development work in getting ideas,written my version of the storyboard,did some photographs and footages for surrounding ,flight imitation,UFO crashing,completed some sound recording for the possible scenes.As team decided, this is going to be a mixture of scary  and funny episodes.I would describe the category of this film as  Black Comedy.

One member of our team ,Charlie,thinks that the story should be set up in New York City.So the character supposed to get to the City somehow.The other member of the team Ryan is going to be an Astronaut that exploring the Moon surface.Ryan was given a material for his costume.He should bring it  in on 19.11.2012  sprayed by silver paint ready for actual filming.
I am planning to offer to the team the idea of creating the imitation of New York City by using the fake hand made buildings made out of cardboard boxes and decorated by printed out photographs of actual New York City that we have visited recently(we had a College trip to New York).I have some footages of the bustling Broadway in New York with flashing lights and tall buildings,also footages of a boat trip to the statue of Liberty with splashing waves.Some toys like car models could be used for creating the street traffic of the city of New York.The fishing wire could be used for pulling the items and elements of  the composition in the scenes while filming.

I have composed three slightly different Space Tunes for the film.Our group “Space Invaders” managed to attach the music to the edited footages.
